This may be well and true, but every set of nonstick pans we’ve owned has started peeling eventually - be it in a year for the cheap ones, or 3 years for the “fancy” sets. Sure, nonstick pans swear up and down that they’re perfectly safe as long as the nonstick finish is not flaking off.
